Ninebarks

Fast-growing deciduous shrub. Tolerates a wide range of soil conditions.

Planting: Sun - partial shade (color fades in shady conditions), moist - medium moist, medium rich soil. Great for borders/hedges, also planted in groups or as solitaire (single).

Care: IV - first pruning before leaves emerges, VI-VII - second pruning after flowering. Mainly prune every year for more bushy and dense form. Can be trimmed as hedge, for containing the overall size, for shape - globe-shaped.
