Cinquefoils

Deciduous shrub that flowers profusely over a long period. Prefer sunny - slightly shaded location, medium moist, well-drained, medium rich, slightly acid to slightly alkaline soil. Can be planted in groups or as informal flowering hedges. Prune every Spring to encourage more full and dense growth. Prune 1/3 of shrub maintaining rounded shape (1/2 - if previously not pruned). Blooms on new growth.
