Very decorative shrub. Shoots in winter distinctly gray color.
Full sun - slight shade, medium moist, fertile, limy soil. Best suited in sunny location, next to wall or fence.
During Spring it's recommended to cut off dead or damaged branches to promote new growth. Blooms on old wood, so prune as needed immediately after flowering to build a decent body and more flowering in the next year.
